This flavor is absolutely the best one since you had your microbrew bottles. I'll be buying it every year it comes out. And ifnyou ever bring back the microbrew, I'll be buying more of those as well.

Are you kidding? Lol~ not only are they in such a cool “old school” swinglid bottle, but they’re unbelievably delicious. Holy smokes. It’s addictive ~ I can’t wait to get more. The Virgil’s Nutmeg root beer is amazing as well. I’m enjoying sharing my experience with everyone I know, including my Safeway store where I happened to come across the Butterscotch Beer.

I’ve been a fan of root beer, real root beer, not the fake watery kind, for a very long time. Virgil’s has been one of my very favorites so far, but this bottle is in a different class. The nutmeg, the depth of flavor, it’s not just drinking a carbonated flavored beverage, it’s drinking excellent food, like the perfect prime rib steak, which by the way, is an excellent food pairing for it. Sure it’s pricey, but in this case worth it, and a little goes a long way

…I wish there was more carbonation/fizz. Otherwise delicious and something I look forward to each autumn.
