VIRGIL'S ZERO SUGAR DR BETTER 12 PACK
I was looking for a Zero Sugar soda that was similar to Dr.Pepper and it’s pretty dry out there. Until I found this. Closest taste to diet Dr.Pepper and it’s made with erythritol instead of aspartame. Has no effect on my blood sugar and tastes great.
Product tastes great. Very crisp and smooth with no after taste.

Thought that to cater to people with health concerns, they might drop the caffeine in the sugar free version, but that part's the same. As with all Virgil's sugar free options, the sweetener blend is more reminiscent of a medicinal tonic, vs. the more fruity flavor of the cane sugar variety. That actually makes the sugar free version more like one might expect an apothecary's elixir to taste like. Incidentally, it also works great for Reed's zero sugar extra ginger beer, which I find tastes more strongly of ginger than the alleged "Strongest" version with sugar in it. It works less well for a more syrupy drink like the black cherry soda or root beer. l do wonder why sugar free is $10 more per online 12-pack ($30 vs. $20 for the sugared version). Seems like a big price jump.
